Get ready for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun! 🎃 Superior’s annual Monster Mash returns Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m., bringing families together for a festive night of costumes, candy and community spirit.
Hosted by the Superior Youth Leadership Council, the free event will take place in Downtown Superior at 2250 Main St. Families can enjoy crafts and games at the Superior Civic Space, along with a Trick-or-Treat Street along Main Street.
🧛 Show off your Halloween costume
Kids can take center stage in the Monster Mash Costume Contest for a chance to win festive prizes. Awards will be presented for best overall, scariest, funniest and most creative costumes.
The contest is divided into three age groups:
- 🦇 Ages 4 and under: 5:30–6 p.m., with awards at 6:15 p.m.
- 🎃 Ages 5–8: 6:15–6:45 p.m., with awards at 7 p.m.
- 👻 Ages 9–12: 7–7:30 p.m., with awards at 7:45 p.m.
Encourage your little monsters to dress up, get creative and show off their Halloween spirit!
🍬 Join the Trick-or-Treat Street
There’s still time to get involved in Trick-or-Treat Street! Groups can host a trunk, tent, truck or booth and welcome trick-or-treaters with treats, activities or both.
Participants must keep their setups within the depth of a standard parking space and decorate in the spirit of Halloween. The Town will provide the first two bags of candy for each participant, though bringing extra candy is recommended.
Registration is free and open to businesses, nonprofit organizations, sports teams and residents. Those interested in participating must register by Monday, Oct. 19.
