Valhallan Esports Training of Broomfield is a youth development organization that uses competitive video gaming as a vehicle to build confident, capable, and connected young people. We exist to prove that gaming, when structured with purpose and guided by strong mentors, can be one of the most powerful developmental tools available to this generation.
Founded on the belief that kids deserve more than just screen time, Valhallan transforms gaming into a structured pathway for growth. Through coach-led training, organized league play, and in-person community engagement, we help players develop both their technical skills and the character traits that matter far beyond the game.
Communication. Leadership. Resilience. Strategic thinking. Emotional control under pressure. These are not byproducts. They are the point. At our arenas, players step into a professional, team-based environment where they train in today’s most popular competitive titles. Unlike casual play at home, Valhallan provides a positive, development-focused structure.
Coaches lead skill sessions, review gameplay, teach teamwork, and model sportsmanship. Players learn how to win with humility and lose with growth. They learn how to support teammates, take feedback, and solve problems in real time.
Valhallan is not only about competition. It is about belonging. Many of our students walk through our doors looking for connection. Some are socially hesitant. Some are highly competitive and need healthy structure. Some simply love games and need a safe, supervised environment where they can meet others who share their interests. In every case, we create a space where kids build real-world friendships through shared digital experiences.
“Our mission is not to create better gamers. It is to create better people who happen to love gaming,” says Andrew Aultman, Chief Operating Officer of Valhallan Esports Training. “When you give kids structure, mentorship, and a team that believes in them, gaming becomes a platform for confidence, character, and community.”
Our league system provides a clear progression from recreational play to advanced competition. Students can compete locally and nationally through the Valhallan Esports League, earning opportunities to participate in major championship experiences. This pathway ensures that every player, regardless of starting skill level, has a place to grow. Beyond gameplay, Valhallan emphasizes life readiness. Players practice goal setting, accountability, time management, and respectful communication. They experience the power of working toward something bigger than themselves. Parents consistently tell us that the growth they see at home mirrors what happens inside the arena.
In a world where gaming is often misunderstood, Valhallan stands as a model for what youth esports can and should be. We are not replacing traditional activities. We are expanding the arena of opportunity. By meeting kids where they already are and guiding them forward, Valhallan is shaping the next generation of competitors, leaders, and teammates.
